Postcard Project #18: Half Rectangle Triangles
Jen Kingwell Designs – Postcard Project #18: Half Rectangle Triangles
This simple and effective project uses Half Rectangle Triangles to create a bold and graphic quilt design. The kit includes an acrylic template and printed instructions. You can make it by hand or machine, and adjust the size as you like.
Cut triangles from both light and dark fabrics. Stitch them together to form rectangle units, then join them into rows. Add sashing between the rows for a striking effect. This is a great project for scraps and works well with high-contrast fabrics.
