• 18 degree Dresden wedge ruler - This 18 degree Dresden Plate ruler is used to cut 20-petal, round or pointed Dresden Plates from strips so there is no waste. A circle template for the center is included.

• Assortment of dark blue indigo fabrics for your Dresden plates - 22 Indigo FQs
• 2 1/2 yards of solid blue and navy for your centers.

Indigo has a rich and fascinating textile history. For centuries, indigo dye was one of the world’s most prized colorants, traded across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Unlike many dyes, indigo does not require a mordant on cotton. Instead, it is created through a special vat-dyeing process that produces those unforgettable deep blues. By the 19th century, indigo prints, shirtings, stripes, and small florals had become beloved staples in quilts, garments, and household textiles.
