Jen Kingwell Designs – Postcard Project #4: Not Quite 60° Triangle

This simple and effective project from Jen Kingwell is perfect for using up scraps and creating a playful quilt with lots of visual interest. Postcard Project #4 includes an acrylic template set (T1 and T2) and printed instructions. The design uses a triangle shape that’s just a bit off from a traditional 60° angle, adding movement and character to your blocks.

You’ll cut one T1, one T2, and one T2 Reversed for each unit, then stitch them together to make a Four Patch. Combine four Four Patches to make a Sixteen Patch block. Repeat as desired for a full quilt. Templates can be used for hand or machine piecing, and shapes can be reversed for mirrored cuts.
