This kit is designed to create a 9 star by 6 star crib quilt, scaled down from the original pattern while preserving its distinctive star layout and sawtooth border. The small stars sparkle against a vintage white background, allowing the subtle beauty of the reproduction prints to shine.

Bette’s original quilt was made using salvaged fabrics from antique quilts, stitched patiently over time—often while waiting in orthodontists’ offices or traveling to visit family. This crib quilt version honors that spirit of slow stitching and thoughtful reuse, making it a wonderful heirloom project for a new generation.
