Pastels were the rage of this era. Post WWI American textile chemists began to print those wonderful pastels! The women loved the clear taffy pinks, Dresden blues and lavenders. American textile chemists used them to give us a wide selection of pastel prints. First feed sack printed in 1937 by Percy Kent Company.
