Back from the road
We’re Home—and There’s So Much New to See!
|
|
It’s been a busy—and wonderful—month here at Reproduction Fabrics! We recently packed up the shop and hit the road for two special events: the Great Wisconsin Quilt Show in Madison, Wisconsin, and the 47th Annual AQSG Seminar in Lincoln, Nebraska.
One of our favorite parts of attending these events is getting to see so many of you in person. We loved catching up with longtime customers, putting faces to familiar names, and meeting new quilters, collectors, and textile-history enthusiasts.
“I didn’t know you existed!”
We heard that again and again—and it made us smile. There’s something special about watching someone discover Reproduction Fabrics for the first time: a shop dedicated to keeping beautiful historic fabrics, their history, and their stories available to today’s quilters.
To everyone who stopped by our booths, thank you for every conversation, question, purchase, and shared love of old quilts and beautiful fabrics. And if you’re one of the new friends who found us at a show this month—welcome! We’re so glad you found us.

Fresh Arrivals for Your Next Project
After unpacking from the shows, we turned around and started unpacking again! New collections have arrived, and we’ve been busy getting them onto the shelves and onto the website.

The Gooch Coverlet
Judy Newman & Margaret Mew
We are especially excited to now have yardage from The Gooch Coverlet collection. Created with permission from The Quilters’ Guild of the British Isles, these fabrics are inspired by the original Gooch Coverlet—an heirloom masterpiece made between 1800–1820 by the Gooch sisters of Suffolk, England. A beautiful choice for lovers of early 19th-century fabrics and English textile history.

|
Darling Buds of May
Judy Newman
Another beautiful new arrival! We now have yardage and bundles of Darling Buds of May, filled with the prints and colors that work so beautifully in reproduction quilts.

|
April & Audrey
Emma Newman
Introduced at the Festival of Quilts in the UK, April & Audrey has arrived! Explore yardage and quilt kits from this beautiful new collection.

|
Valley Hues
Max & Louise for Andover Fabrics
We also have yardage and bundles of Valley Hues. Classic prints and a wonderfully softened palette give this charming collection a warm, collected look that feels right at home in reproduction and traditional quilts.

|
Two Jane Austen Collections
Jane Austen lovers have even more to explore with both Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen’s House and the Jane Austen Coverlet Collection in the shop. Each is a wonderful way to bring a little literary and textile history into your next quilting project.
