Dear Reproduction Fabrics Friends,

We are excited to share that a beautiful new Frank Lloyd Wright collection, American Bold, has just arrived in the shop.

Last year we added a new section to our offerings, Mid-Century Modern (1945-1960), anchored by the first Frank Lloyd Wright line, The March Balloons and April Showers.  (We still have some yardage and a couple bundles from that line left in the shop!). That line was such a success — the vibrant geometric designs and historic connection to Wright’s 1927 Liberty Magazine covers truly resonated with so many of you. We are already seeing the same excitement around American Bold.

This new collection draws inspiration from several of Wright’s masterworks across his long career. Elements from the skylight of his Chicago studio, stained glass from his early California projects, and the geometric rug designs from the Imperial Hotel in Japan have been thoughtfully reimagined into bold, modern repeats. The result is a striking blend of architectural lines, triangular motifs, pixelated layouts, layered geometrics, and rhythmic dots.

Hoffman - Red/Navy

Frank Lloyd Wright was one of the most influential American architects of the 20th century and a key figure in what later became known as the Mid-Century Modern movement. His philosophy of “organic architecture” emphasized harmony between structure and environment. Clean lines, strong geometry, and thoughtful use of color became hallmarks of his work and continue to influence design today. These textiles capture that spirit beautifully — graphic, balanced, and timeless.

The American Bold palette combines warm corals and clay tones with blush, lavender, mustard, slate blue, olive, and soft neutrals. It is bold yet refined, making it perfect for modern quilts, statement home décor, and creative projects that celebrate architectural design.

We have yardage available in the shop, along with two free patterns to help inspire your next project. We also prepared a limited number of Fat Quarter bundles and 1/2 yard bundles for those who love the full coordinated collection.
