Wildflower Cottage by Renée Nanneman
A quaint countryside cottage is partially hidden by freshly laundered linens drying on the line, beside a charming wildflower garden. Enter through the arched trellis of the garden gate draped in lush chains of petals. A meandering cobblestone path winds through the scatter garden, its aged gray stones softened with fern moss. Sweet meadowlarks flit among the blossoms with a joyful song. Wildflower Cottage is a visual delight, blooming with perennial flowers in sunlit shades of lavender, poppy, and daffodil.
Holbrook by Max and Louise
The Holbrook fabric collection features decidedly English-inspired reproductions of 1860s motifs in a palette of light colors reminiscent of the originals. Australian quilters have long been influenced by English fabrics, fashion, and textile documents—an inheritance from settlers from “mother England.” Designers Max and Louise lean heavily on the English design inspiration found in antique quilts preserved in Australia, creating a line that beautifully bridges two quilting traditions.
Sally’s Stitches by Betsy Chutchian for Moda Fabrics
Inspired by a sampler quilt made between 1840–1860 by a woman named Sally, the Sally's Stitches collection is a heartfelt tribute to her and to all quilters of the past. It features a delightful blend of bright, lively colors and timeless traditional prints—perfect for creating quilts with both history and vibrance.
Philomena by Michelle Yeo
Philomena was inspired by Michelle Yeo’s love of 1830–1840s fabrics, especially those with birds and flowers. In 2023, she discovered three fabrics from this era featuring birds, flowers, and baskets—sparking the creation of this collection. The main print showcases seven unique baskets, each with its own floral arrangement and birds. Use it as a quilt center panel, cut the baskets into standalone blocks, or, for Broderie Perse, cut individual flowers and birds for appliqué. The toile features elegant birds with lacey tails, while Michelle’s signature serpentine stripe adds movement or makes striking narrow borders. Philomena brings a rich historical touch to any quilt.
