Reproduction Fabrics: Back in Stock: Trophy of Arms Panel, Starter Kit, New Kits & Circa Turkey Reds

Dear Reproduction Fabrics Friends,

We’re delighted to announce that the Trophy of Arms Chintz Center Panel is back in stock!

This 20" square panel is a faithful reproduction of an early 19th-century British chintz, originally block printed between 1808 and the 1830s. These elegant panels were designed specifically for quilts and became highly popular in America from 1820 to 1840, often used as the centerpiece in framed medallion quilts surrounded by pieced or appliquéd borders.

I’ve worked with these panels since 2011. Over the years, I’ve learned that getting an authentic early 1800s look depends on more than just beautiful fabric—it’s about balance and tone.

To get a period feel when choosing prints to go with this Center Panel, I recommend using a combination of Lights and Mediums. Add a touch of only a few Darks. If you look at portraits and paintings from the era, you’ll see that same Light/Medium palette dominate.

NEW: Trophy of Arms - Fabric Starter Bundle
To help you begin building your medallion or Broderie Perse quilt, we’ve curated a bundle of  prints in period-appropriate tones. These coordinate beautifully with the Trophy of Arms panel and follow that essential Light/Medium palette. Bundle will include 1 yard of Floral Toile and (4) 1/2 yards of light and medium coordinates (from Trendy Toiles) plus 7 FQs from Sacre Bleu, and Genevieve fabric lines plus "A Spotted" (polka dots).

Also Just Added to Our Etsy Shop:
We’ve listed new quilt kits and fabric bundles from Julie’s collection, including rare, out-of-print designs and unique combinations you won’t find anywhere else.

New Fabric Highlight: Circa Turkey Reds by Whistler Studio
This new collection features 9 gorgeous Turkey Red prints, including a standout paisley. Available by the yard or as a Fat Quarter bundle of all 9. We’ve also added coordinating creams and tans from the line to complete your project palette.
