Margo’s Fun Finds Return + USA Sesquicentennial Bundle, Laines 1849 & More!

Margo’s Fun Finds Return This Friday at 9AM CST!

Dear Quilting Friends,

We’re kicking off June with exciting news from the shop!

Margo’s Fun Finds Are Back this week!

Join us this Friday at 9AM CST for the return of Margo’s Fun Finds—a summer series of rare, curated fabric treasures straight from our stash. These special bundles are limited and go fast—so set a reminder and visit our homepage early! This week we have two offerings.  Each bundle will include 1/2 cut of an out of print fabric designed by Margo and some coordinating FQs.  We won't cut the 1/2 yard until it's ordered so if you order more than 1 we will give you continous yardage.  (Order 2 get 1 Yard, order 3 get 1.5 yards, etc....)

Hint - 1 of the fun finds is from Margos' Dargate Doubles CA.1830 line and the other from her Dargate Botanicals 1830 line.

New! USA Sesquicentennial Fat Quarter Bundle

In honor of 250 years of American independence, we’re excited to offer a new Fat Quarter bundle celebrating the fabrics available in America between 1700–1800.

Before 1600, wardrobes in Europe and the colonies were dominated by linen, wool, and silk. But with the opening of the East India trade, cottons flowed westward—introducing chambrays, woven stripes, block-printed calicoes, and hand-painted chintzes into the American fabric palette.

Each bundle includes 11 reproduction prints curated by textile historian Margo Krager, plus a short historical essay for 6 of the featured fabrics.

Looking Ahead to the Sesquicentennial

The Sesquicentennial—America’s 250th birthday—will be celebrated nationwide in 2026. Just as the 150th in 1926 sparked a Colonial Revival and renewed interest in early American quilts, we’re marking this milestone by honoring the textiles that shaped our nation's earliest years. This bundle is both a tribute and a time capsule.

Back in Stock: Laines 1849 Prints

Select prints from Laines 1849 are now back in stock! This line, inspired by a mid-19th-century Parisian fabric sample book, features stunning florals, geometrics, and stripes originally printed in the Alsace/Mulhouse region of France. These dramatic designs are perfect for period-inspired projects or striking accents.
