Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) was a visionary architect whose influence spanned the globe. His signature Prairie School style, inspired by the treeless expanse of the Midwest, emphasized strong horizontal lines and was the American response to England’s Arts and Crafts Movement.

The *March Balloons* design itself has an interesting history! Originally created as an unpublished cover design for *Liberty* magazine (1926-1927), Wright’s abstract motif depicted colorful balloons rising into the sky. The editors deemed the series too radical, so it was never used. Today, this striking design has been adapted into art glass panels, where enamel colors are kiln-fired onto a single sheet of glass and framed with metal came. A true celebration of Wright’s artistic vision!

Plus, don’t miss the **FREE quilt patterns** featuring THE FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT COLLECTION!  Also some inspiration pieces using the designs.
