Jacobean Era is generally considered 1625-1702. Often Jacobean Crewel Embroidery 'musters' were sent to the 'factories' in India as guide lines for hand painted chintz designs. Late 1820s saw a Jacobean Revival in Scotland and England in architecture/interior design,combining elements of the Jacobean and Elizabethan Eras.
